My Neice Amanda

Well she finally arrived safe and sound last sunday (the 16th) at 1.50am :) she was 6lbs 14oz and is the most gorgeous little girl i have ever ever seen! she is so tiny and precious, love her to bits already :) her full name is Amanda Karen :)

Introducing

Well here you go i want to introduce you to my neice :D she hasnt arrived yet she is due on the 16th of december :) i just thought i would let you see her before then.....i scrapped the photo today, my first pink page in YEARS!!!

We are so excited about meeting her we think she is going to be called Stacy but my sister also likes Amanda, whats the betting she wont like either!!

Scrapping Jamie AGAIN

Yes i have been scrapping Jamie AGAIN, i can't help it he is so gorgeous and scrummy and mmmm scrapable lol I had totally lost my Mojo but was inspired by the saturday challenge here http://scrummystashcafe.blogspot.com/ it really got me going and i think my mojo may well have returned :D wooohoooooo

Just a Little story!

Well i have been a bushy bee getting lots of scrummy presents for the UKS advent swap, papmper hamper swap and lurve thread santa swap...how many swaps i hear you say....too many!!! had another lovely weekend with my nephew jamie, attached is a photo of his new habit...lying down and sleeping wherever the fancy takes him! Also attached is a photo of my gorgeous scrummy new crocs, i loveeeeeeeeeeee them :D

Dressing up

Prompted by a thread on UKS i was thinking today about dressing up, i know some people absolutley loath it but i have to say i LOVE it, it is so much fun...over the years working in the soft play centre i had to dress up as a weird and wonderful array of things from a devil to an elephant and once an alien! Never am i embarrassed to go out in full dressed up galore, it is great fun and for all those prudes out there i say get those witches hats out and make a stand and make fools of yourself! you only live once afterall :D

Critical Scrappers

Over the years i have been scrapping i have come to notice that we as scrappers can be very very critical of our own work, i often browse other peoples galleries and adore the work they do but most of the time look at mine and think what a load of tosh!!! Well after getting myself into a little bit of photography i have started to like my pages more, the better the photo the better the page i think, although that is merely personal opinion! In my last post i showed you a photo of my gorgeous nephew Jamie, I had been sitting looking at this for days and i loved it so on sunday i sat for 4 hours playing with paper and ended up with a page that i personally think is one of my best pages. Some of the UKS girls have even said it is my best ever page!!! so here it is......i have learned from this that your work is always good, and not to be to critical of yourself because if you are you will never be happy and appreciative of your own work :) happy scrapping

Photography and scrapping

recently i decided it was about time i tried to take some decent pictures to scrap, easier said than done might i add!! i bought a fujifilm bridging camera and have been playing around for week lol well here is what i consider my first decent picture, i love the way it has turned out!! do let me kinow what you think :)

New Shoes

Wooo Hooo i got new shoes, finally tracked down the Crocs i wanted and i love them so much!! i got them quite far from home in Keswick in the Lake District!! Im hopeing they are going to help my very sore foot which i think is a fallen arch :(

Also this week have been to art from the heart in harrogate and bought some of the scrummy new blonde moments papers, mmmmmmm they are lush!!!!

Happiness and Sadness

Well this week has been a complete and utter roller coaster of emotions.....the begining of the week saw the family have a leaving party for my uncle Tony and cousin Chris who where over visiting the family from Australia for the firt time in 18 years, we had a great time and got a family photo which is a great scrapping oportunity :D On the sad side we have the news on tuesday morning that my gran had passed away in her sleep, she has had a long battle with cancer, after being diagnose with lung cancer three years ago she went into remission but in june the cancer came back, in july my parents where called to say she was in hospital and they thought she had broken her back, my parents went to spain to be with her (thats where she lived) After a week they where told that the cancer had spread to her stomach causing a compression on her spine which had paralysed her, she was flown back to the UK and put in a hospice, after a horrible few months of pain and heartache she passed away in her sleep. RIP xx

Completley Crackers!!!!

Woooo Hoooo its here the UkScrappers 5th Birthday Cyber Crop........How excited are we???? can't even put it into word eh!! i cant wait for the 3 weeks of fun, not to mention the excitment and swaps leading up to the crop........OMG i love Cyber Crops. I am in the Completley Crackers team, suitable for me don't you think! Well happy scrapping my loveies :D wooo hoo let the party begin :D

Meandering

Well i havent posted for a while, been rather busy with this and that...unfortunatley not scrapping, i seem to have lost my mojo! however i am going to a crop next saturday so i am hoping i will be able to get something done lol. Had a great weekend with my nephew Jamie, we had a great time with some ice cream (you can see in the picture) and today we went to loch lomond, Jamie loved it, was running up to the water and shouting DUDUDU at the swans whilst pointing at them, have to say the swans didnt look highly impressed!

Busy scrapping....

I have been scrapping like made the last few days, i have been doing classes, scraplifting, doing challenges etc etc. and i have had a ball, i am really pleased with everything i have done and you can see it all in my ukscrappers gallery if you wish...my favourite however is a scraplift of a page by Gertie on Ukscrappers, i have to give HUGE shout out for Gertie as she is a really talented scrapper and i adore her work...so a big WOOPWOOP for Gertie :) Attached is a pic of the page i scraplifted from her :)

Unusual Scrapping

This weekend i took up the challenge from the "All about Eve" blog of scrap your booty http://allabouteve-challenges.blogspot.com/2007/08/challenge-4-scrap-that-booty.html i had so much fun doing this and i love it to bits, i really want my BOM to be unusual so that my future relatives can see the real me :D have you done anything unusual in your BOM?? if so let me see please :)

Scrapping myself..

With the arrival of the wonderful classes in this weeks UkScrappers Summer Cyber Crop i decided that for a change i should scrap a picture of myself, and my lord am i pleased with the results, i mean i relaly love the page. it isnt very often that i admire my own work but i am very happy with this :) I do wonder if i should scrap more about myself for the future when i look back or for when i am not here anymore for my family to look back on and get to know me through my work.....does that sound odd?? lol

Stash Buying

Yes AGAIN! i have been stash buying, there was nothing in particular i wanted to si just bought whatever took my fancy lol here are some pictures of what i bought......how do you purchase your stash? are you strict or do you just buy buy buy..let me know lol i only spent £30 which i thought was good for what i got as i also bought a blonde moments christmas papers pack aswell which was £5!!! bargain galore lol

My Nephews First Birthday

Last tuesday (24th) my nephew was one, i cant believe it, it feels like only yesterday i was sitting in the delivery room with my sister and then holding her hand when she was in theatre having forceps, he has grown so much and is more gorgeous than ever.......i bet all the birthdays will fly in. he seemed to enjoy his birthday party although i dont think he really knew what was going on lol the difference in him since her was born is immense as you can see!

Update

Well i have been a busy bee working, trying to scrap and celebrating my excellent exam results, i got 6 A's!!!!! here is a pic of my latest scrapbook page, i used pencil lines sketch 42 for think inspiration.....i havent been scrapping alot recently as my granma is very ill so i have been to worried about her to concentrate so i am pleased that i managed to sit for an hour or so tonight and take my mind off things :)

This is me, thought i would let you see what i look like lol, not the best of pictures but we all have flaws, not the most attractive face to be pulling but it shows my personality lol
